I am not sure if this was better in this section or the resources section? I will post the actual videos in the resources also to try and keep everything in the correct place
I was wondering if anyone wanted to share how additional resources have supplemented your original practice (i.e what have you added since your original 8 week practice/course and how has it helped you?). I personally started with the Mindfulness: FPFW book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mindfulness-practical-guide-finding-frantic/dp/074995308X
There have been 2 or 3 for me. The first would be the teachings of Alan Watts. Particularly his lectures on 'the Middle Way' which whilst they focus specifically on the teachings of Buddhism I found a lot of resonance in the sections on removing the distinction between knower and known. This has assisted me with the implementing mindfulness in everyday life, at all times.
Next would be the JKZ guided meditation that I found on-line. These are essentially covering the same content as the guided meditations as my original book but I now try and mix-and-match. I certainly found the 'mindscape' guided meditation by JKZ led me to new mindful skills of watching my own thoughts.

Hi MelliOBrien,
Great list. Thanks.
I suspect that you would connect with Steven Harrison's books.
All highly recommended, especially Doing Nothing, What's Next After Now and The Question To Life's Answers: Spirituality Beyond Belief.
All good things,
Jon, Hove

All this makes me realise how little time I have in my life....Still, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'd love to be as well read as you or Mellli. I have only really read one mindfulness book: 'Wherever You Go, There You Are.' I suppose If you are only going to read one, then you might as well go for the big man.
