I have the following statements to 'flesh out' and remind myself of the 7 Pillars of Mindfulness. Some of them I have tweaked from teachers, others I have picked up from esoteric and traditional cultural sources. Even though they may be obvious to anyone familiar with MBSR, I hope you enjoy them and find any 'anchor' in them as I do:
Non-Judging: Clinging and aversion increases our tension; our discomfort.
Patience: You can't pull on a plant to make it grow.
Beginner's mind: Don't paint the clear sky blue.
Trust: One's body will detoxify all by itself as it always has done - if one allows it to.
Non-striving: You can't still the mind with thoughts.
Acceptance: Mindfulness means that there's no conflict.
Letting go: Attaching ourselves to things puts us on a leash and ties us down.
I would really enjoy reading someone else's reflections (or poached quotes ) - even a succinct reflection on one pillar would be great.
Please feel free to share below.

Thanks - that's why I made the above for myself - my memory isn't that good!
