I've read a lot of Mindfulness books. But my all time favourite, that I can dip in and out of at any time is Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now.
It's not marketed as a book on Mindfulness but it IS about freedom from the past, the future and the 'monkey mind.'
I personally find its writings very powerful and it manages to point me towards the present moment whenever I need reminding

I agree. It's a wonderfully inspiring book. Indeed, any of Tolle's books are worth the price of admission.
