This is a lovely video and runs for about an hour.

I hope to make the emerging field of contemplative science my life's work and have been following the research coming out of Richie Davidson's lab for a while now. Thanks for sharing this inspiring video. :)

A brilliant video. The highlights for me were:

* Happiness is a skill.
* Happiness is always available depending on how we manage our present state (example: hold your breath for 30 seconds and then when you breath after that you will definitely feel a wave of happiness).
* We can 'measure' the effectiveness of our own mindfulness practice in our lives by how often we take things personally.
"Compassion – particularly for yourself – is of overwhelming importance." - Mark Williams, Mindfulness (2011), p117.
"...allow yourself to smile inwardly." - Jon Kabat-Zinn, Full Catastrophe Living (2005), p436.
