Hi,

I've just joined this forum and very much enjoying reading through the posts. As I gently discover a little more about Mindfulness this forum seems like an excellent place to have discovered. Thanks Gareth!

My curiosity about mindfulness has been peaked this year by a friend of mine, Paul O'Mahony (well known online as @omaniblog), and he is currently doing a Mindfulness practice course in East Cork, Ireland, and journalling his experience online in a series of audioblogs which can be found at his page on Audioboo... here's a link to his latest audioboo :

Paul's just completed week 2 of the 8 week course - he's brilliant on audio, a great storyteller and a great thinker, well worth a listen to this series on Mindfulness I reckon.

I look forward to reading more here on the forum and hopefully joining in the discussion a little.

With thanks, and all good wishes,

Nick

Hello Nick. Great to have you on board here. The members are slowly but surely trickling in here which makes me very excited. It's a dream of mine to have a thriving community here talking about mindfulness which is a passion of mine, one that has changed my life infinitely for the better.

Really interesting that you should mention @omaniblog. Another friend of mine has had his interested perked by mindfulness, in part due to the @omaniblog audioboos. @omaniblog gave me a shout on Twitter the other day, maybe I'll get in touch with him and see if he wants to join this place. That would be awesome. I am defintely going to go away and look at his audioboos - thanks for the link.

I appreciate this place looks pretty plain for now, but I intend to get some redesign work done on here and on the site in the new year. Please stick around and keep chatting about mindfulness.

Gareth

...here's a link to a playlist with all of @Omaniblog's audios so far as he journals his experience of the Mindfulness training course in East Cork...

http://audioboo.fm/users/117932/playlists/3104-omaniblog-s-journey-through-mindfulness-training

...Paul's about half way through the course now, the playlist will keep updating as he continues to post about his experience (there's links at the top of that page for subscribing to the feed as well).

Paul is brilliant at this sort of thing - it's a great listen, fascinating.

Cheers,

Nick

I know lots of people are struggling with challenges, doubts, obstacles, questions, constant stress. In the busy world, we lose our mind in the daily life, we need to take care of our own minds and keep hearts open and kind. By Mindfulness meditation, Your life maybe is radically different from the life you are living today.

I setup the webiste to share my cognition about mindfulness & meditation, and help others to find their own inner wisdom. At here, I will share my idea, techniques, experience about stress-management and meditation practices. I will in mindfulness, empathy and compassion.

I write several article hope share with you.
