Introducing myself

Hi everyone,
As you've probably realised, I'm new to this forum so I just wanted to say hello to you all!
I was introduced to Mindfulness last year as part of my treatment for insomnia. I've always found sleep a little bit difficult but last year, various difficulties I was encountering brought the problem to a head, and I ended up having to take several weeks off work.
I took the 8-week Mindfulness course self-guided, as for various reasons it was difficult for me to attend any formal classes. It has helped me enormously, but there are still particular problems and situations that I struggle to apply it to. Hence, I have joined this forum in the hope that being able to talk to others and share experiences will help me on my continuing journey.
