Hello,

My name is Eric, I came across Mindfulness everyday via twitter today. I'm a geek for mindfulness related stuff. I am from Virginia, lived in San Francisco, a short stay in Australia and now I'm living in Kauai, HI. I first learned meditation at 10 years old in martial arts classes however lost touch with that after some time.

Fast forward, living in San Francisco, I got frustrated (a particular job triggered it) and felt there had to be more to life then working a job I don't like, buy nice things to fit in and then retire into my "golden ages". I had various magical/synchronistic experiences in life that pointed to something "BIGGER". I researched spirituality online and started reading books. I couldn't read the books fast enough. Shortly after I came across Eckart Tolle's book "The Power of Now" and began practicing mindfulness in my everyday life and the rest his history : )

Aloha,
Eric

Thanks Jon, My mindfulness practice is a daily noticing and shifting. I've been in the world of mindfulness for some time now. After reading the book The Power of Now I was inspired to create a mindfulness tool and about 4 years ago I launched a mindfulness iphone app called Mindful Moon. I came across the Everyday Mindfulness site looking for others in the world of spreading Mindfulness. Great to meet and be connected.
