Hi there,

I have been teaching myself mindfulness for the last 2 years. The reason that I started was because of an illness. I did an online course initially and it opened up a whole new world of health and wellbeing and has become a amazing journey for me. My dream is to be able to teach others and I am currently training myself as much as I can. Unfortunately I have not had any experience of meditation or being mindful with other people and hope to put that right soon. In the meantime I am really pleased to have found this forum. Cheers to new friendships and knowledge.

p.s. please don't be offended if I do not post often or reply to something immediately . I am unable to type or write and have to use speech recognition - which takes a lot of time and patience!

A warm welcome to you!

Thanks so much for making the effort to post a topic, it is greatly appreciated. Your journey to mindfulness sounds like it might be an inspirational one. Do stick around, even if it's just reading the topics.

Everyday Mindfulness has just started a YouTube channel, and we have a regular blog too, so if you ever want to tell your story either by the written or spoken word, then do let us know.

Hi sunflowers894,
Welcome to Everyday Mindfulness.
I've recently started training as a mindfulness teacher. If you need any advice about the teaching side of things, please feel free to ask.
Meanwhile, I look forward to getting to know you on this forum.
All good things,
Jon, Hove
