Hello all, I am on the road to change

Hi Everyone
Following yet another flare up in my anxiety I decided the existing NHS provided treatments really weren't working for me. I know there is a lot of evidence that challenging the faulty cognitive thoughts using CBT can be helpful, but it did little for the insomnia or the gut wrenching that would plague my days.
So a couple of weeks ago I decided that I would follow the 8 week course described in the excellent book "Finding peace in a frantic world". I am on my third week now and have kept up the twice daily meditation practise.
I have already noticed some positive changes and feeling better but I know I've got a way to go as yet.
While the book is good, I lack that support network to ask questions, so I am hoping if I get stuck then someone on here will be able to offer advice.
All the best
Mike
