Visual imagery and sides of the 'brain'

I'm really curious to know if anyone else has the same experience as I do - whenever I observe my thoughts, they always always come from the left hand side of my mind. Further - whenever I practice being a visitor in my meditation, I am always - without exception - viewing myself from somewhere around the top right hand side of my mind. I've tried to switch sides but absolutely can't! I'd love to understand this phenomenon so that I can use it to my advantage when trying to improve my meditation. Has anyone else noticed this????

This post is a bit old, but I want to give a reply.

The right side is generally associated with creativity. There is a test you can do to understand whether someone is remembering or creating an image in their mind, or telling a truth or a lie. The majority of people, when try remembering an image look towards their top left, when one is creating an image in their mind one tends to direct the gaze top right.

It seem to me there is a correlation,
