Hello there!

Hi! I found the link to this forum on twitter and figured I'd join.
My name is Mai. But you can call me rainbow if you like. I'm five weeks into and eight week mindfulness for youth course. When I started the course I was very very sceptical of this whole 'mindfulness thing' but as the weeks have gone on I have got my head around it more and more. We have been asked to do a formal practice everyday, as well as informal practice. At group last night we did origami, which is something I love so that will definitely become an informal practice for me. We have also been asked to pay attention to a plesent experience each day and write it down.
I find informal practice easier to do I volunteer at a vet 15 hrs a week which involves a lot of cleaning, which I find a very 'mindful task'
I'm totally in love with mindfulness. I'm begin to notice when it would be helpful for me and actually look forward to practice now, where as at first it made me very anxious!
Hope everyone is well.
