Hello,
I have had anxiety problems for many many years. To be honest, I had many many problems in my life and I am sure that fear has been a key point.
However, my main problem is rushing. Even when I am writing this email I tend to rush and finish it as soon as possible. I guess I get on Doing Mode without feeling it ( Being Mode ) very easily.
How can I tackle precisely this problem? any articles books related to this?
I have tried the following methods and they help and still have to practice more.
-Hope and Help for your Nernes ( by Claire Weekes )
-I am reading Mindfulness at the moment.
I want to tackle my problem more and read about this specific problem about rushing.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Mindgus.
Welcome to the forum.
You say you're reading about mindfulness at the moment. Which book(s) are you following? Do you have a daily practice? Have you considered enrolling on an 8-week course? It would be useful to get some more info from you before attempting to advise.
In the meantime, wishing you well.
Cheers,
Jon

Hello Jon,
Yes. I am practicing everyday meditation. It is helping to have more energy. However, when it comes to do a task I start rushing and rushing. Its this feeling that I get bored and I want to finish things as quickly as possible, not really feeling the moment.
I have not done any 8 week course. I am just reading the book.
I know meditation can work, but wanted to read more about the problem.
Thanks a lot.
Gustavo.

Hi Gustavo,
There are a few books that will take you through the 8-week course and give you a solid grounding in mindfulness. The best of these, in my opinion, is Finding Peace In A Frantic World by Mark Williams and Danny Penman. I would highly recommend it.
All best,
Jon, Hove
