Wow thank you this post was really great for me and my future practice.
I don't know, I'm in a state of stress and then usually the doing mind becomes a lot more active in trying to get everything "right".
I'm copying this answer to my phone if I confuse myself again.

Re: awareness and thoughts, your perspective
First of all Thank you for your posts :) about this perspective of "positive thoughts" this is a quote from the mindful way through depression by Jon kabat-zinn etc; "An effective response is not to ignore them but to see them clearly, with awareness. When we let them come and go, we ...

Re: awareness and thoughts, your perspective
Thank you for your insightful perspective and your fast response, I'm amazed. I will definitely come back here to check your response in moments of confusion. I guess I felt a bit like "Am I supposed to "question" or not trust all my thoughts all the time?" I like what you say ab...

awareness and thoughts, your perspective
Hello! I find myself turning to you people on this forum once again for your perspectives on mindfulness. I thank you for that. So when it comes to awareness of the thoughts, I understand that you can see the thoughts from a more objective point of view, that you can be aware of the thought created ...

Re: "Anchor techniques" during the day
Thank you for all your answers, it's much appreciated and it all makes perfect sense. I tend to be a bit less secure about mindfulness stuff when I am feeling anxious, it change from day to day but I am a lot more aware of this matter now which feels great. Here's a link from a page of the mindful w...

Re: "Anchor techniques" during the day
Thank you for a great reply :) I appreciate it a lot. It makes a lot of sense, I guess I'm sometimes also involving the breath abit to much. I mean, I feel like it usually needs to be a part of what I'm experiencing, it's quite hard to explain. I'll practice just noticing stuff without it aswell. Pa...

"Anchor techniques" during the day
Hi! I am wondering what kind of techniques you people out there use to anchor yourself in the present when you are out walking for example. I'm aware that you might have a lot of ways to do it but it would be nice to hear some of your favourites. Me as a beginner to mindfulness like to keep things a...

Re: Breathing OCD
Just making an update to my previous post. So I've made progress, when I find myself focusing on my breath I no longer get anxious. I've also started to meditate slowly again. I do however find myself having to breath manually when I meditate because I am thinking or focusing so much about it and wa...

Re: Breathing OCD
Yes I used to suffer from obsessive anxieties. It's a tricky one, you think "I don't care about thinking about this" but then you sit and watch it still, to see if you do care. Then you notice you might care and think "but I thought I didn't care, I hope I don't get obsessed with thi...

Re: Breathing OCD
Also I would like to add that the breathing OCD got triggered because I was thinking of it for 1-2 days and forcing myself to breath with the stomach in everyday life. Obviously I've stopped doing that
