I start my day by having a sniff and a gaze out the back door at 6am. I have a blog on Mindfulness and so I have my mind on Mindfulness pretty much all the time.

Suffering is part of life. It is no use running away from it. It will be waiting for you. instead, embrace it, lean into it. With practice, the pain may be eased if you separate it from the suffering. Is that right?

I came up with my own way of dealing with the thoughts that try to intrude on my practice. I see a line of paintings by children which are not very defined. They are a distance away from me or. else I might go and tamper with them (getting dragged away by thoughts). The thing about this line of pain...

I have trouble in that I write a blog about Mindfulness. I am totally consumed by it an I spend a great deal of time on the computer. I can easily Con vince myself that I am 'doing' Mindfulness. However it is easy to overlook Mindfulness Meditations. I want to try to do it early in the morning befor...
