Thanks Peter. I just tried this 4-stage meditation and I think I will probably come back to it often. It seems very helpful for me at this point in my journey to have the short stages; four different focus points. I did find myself very fidgety and sort of fighting sleep. I do some sitting meditation, walking meditation, tai-chi & yoga. I started practicing about 5 years ago but remain very much a beginner. I'm thankful to come across this blog to learn from the experiences of others.

I have a cup of coffee almost every afternoon. Often, I will turn it into an exercise in mindfulness as I just try to be present with that experience.
