I've experienced that exactly then
I've been practicing Mindfulness for 5 weeks now and I believe that it will be part of my life for the rest of it.

A situation occurred and I ended up being upset afterward and brooding. About 15 minutes later I thought, hey, just observe your thought. I did that and ...

Being rather new to mindfulness myself, I fell into a bit of similar thinking. I found this article (among a few others) that I found helpful with sorting this out. Maybe it can help you also?
Interesting. Thank you

Re: New to Mindfulness and a bit concerned
"Where did this thought come from?" "Why did I have this thought?" "What's the catalyst for it?" If you find yourself trying to answer these questions, you can easily get pulled down a rabbit hole of more thoughts on top of more thoughts. I can confirm you that this is...

Re: New to Mindfulness and a bit concerned
Hello again. My last meditations were far more interesting with the enlightment I had from you all! I was able to observe my thoughts more and react less to them. I checked in my head why I had each thoughts before returning to the body scan with a self congratulation each time with no frustration. ...

Re: The discipline of morning meditation
I'm extremelly new to mindfulness, but I also settled to do my meditation for 45 minutes after waking up. Then I get ready for work. I do a 10 minutes breathing meditation at lunch in the middle of the day and do a Relaxation session on the evening.

Re: New to Mindfulness and a bit concerned
Hello Garreth, I just watched your testimonial and I have to say that I now realize that I am already starting to see some benefits. I wasn't really aware of it but I tend to focus a little bit more on the present and my different physical annoyances (if I compare my physical problems with MS) are l...
