Re: The Oblivious Approach.
This post is not about Mindfulness Per Say ... I think I am not in the right place. My Bad. I did however think I could take some kind of journey without the need to be corrected like so. Again - My Bad ... I should of realized not to discuss like so. I can see how it disturbs the peace. What may ha...

Re: The Oblivious Approach.
It's OK Jon - I'll take my difficult text to another place. I "heed" your correction. I can only refer to Jon-Kabat-Zins talk of Mindfulness being Simple, but Not Easy. I did ask where I could talk religion. However got no reply on that. My practice to mindfulness includes observing things...

The Oblivious Approach.
Whilst a set of circumstances will give set results, mine have helped me to see how futile any approach becomes; the more one focuses on becoming more than what one already is. (self reflection/self definition ... acceptance with what has been - to let go and be content with what is -> So is as I wo...

Re: Yoga
Hi Jon, I rarely pay for advice, so like the fact there is some free information at the first link. Is that your own website? Yoga will always remain no more than just stretching to me. "I" live in a world of cliches and for me, that is pretty much what yoga has become. I have never liked ...

Re: Yoga
I must add - that being overweight and not being into group activities seems to scare people and or make them laugh if I attempt to do such things on the side walk or in a park. I stretch when I feel the need and do much worse things in public other than pretending to be part of the latest fads. Let...

Re: Does anyone else find happy events triggering sadness
This question speaks to me. My answer is Yes, but not so much when I am able to simply observe as opposed to react. Do not focus on the philosophy of why it is that you feel that way. It's true that many of us who have suffered hardships for a good part of our life have a predisposition to "hap...
